BIO
Writer, poet, artist, musician, singer, songwriter and healer Sheran possesses a huge interest in music that started as a young child playing the violin and taking an interest in piano. Music, performing arts and the arts have played a huge part in her life and has led her to this very moment.
I Miss You
Sheran’s debut single released in 2020 ‘I Miss You’ comes out of a time where the ‘outside world’ as we know it is essentially closed. Defying all odds pushing through boundaries so proud to have written and recorded at home in her humble home studio. Researching and sourcing all the promotional material and artwork for her new single herself.
Sheran knew no other way so she discovered new skills and followed her true passion and purpose despite walking through uncharted territory.
“I Miss You” is about her brother Deran who suddenly passed away 9 Aug 2017. Which is why the release date has so much meaning as it is the 3-year anniversary to the day. There was a sense of urgency and undeniable pull to honour him through their dual love of music. Taking a leap of faith and doing all the hard work to get to this point. Sheran turned her pain in to power allowing her to give a gift of love to her brother through song.
With her whole world shook it had been a long dark traumatic time and music has been her healing. It is and always will be her connection to her brother after all he is the one who influenced her with different styles of music and artists. He took her to her very first concert ‘Prince’. He always believed it was her calling and wanted her to do this the minute he heard her sing the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston power ballads hitting those high notes at the young age of 13.
After such a warm response to her debut single in 2020, Sheran began to release additional singles throughout 2020-2021. The ebb and flow of songwriting and producing became so strong coming from a place far greater than her. Through hard work and perseverance Sheran established herself with her debut album Aligned in 2022. A childhood dream had become a reality.
These songs will fill your soul and will be very hard to leave, just what the world needs right now.
